BSSF is a pioneering Sports-for-Development organization, established in 2009 and headquartered in Bengaluru, India. We empower children, youth, and communities through sports, education, leadership, and humanitarian action.
Our outreach programs serve children and youth aged 8–18, including children living with HIV, children living in slums, vulnerable girl children, youth with disabilities, juveniles, intellectually challenged children, tribal children and refugee children. Our Rising 20's program serves young people aged 19–29, and our school sports events are open to all schools.
The Bangalore School Games, Bangalore Soccer Cup and Freedom Cup are open to all schools: CBSE, ICSE, State, International and Government schools.
Champion In Me is BSSF's globally acclaimed program empowering children and youth living with HIV through sport. It is recognized for combating stigma and discrimination while promoting health, dignity, and opportunity.
Yes. BSSF has led India's engagement with the International Children's Games since 2009, and our athletes have competed at the Great Wall Cup of China, the Melbourne Friendship Cup, international marathons and ITF wheelchair tennis events.
